Das, How are you planning to solve the budget deficit? There are not enough smokers and soda drinkers to take care of the short fall.
How do you plan to help stabilize and increase small business in our communities?

Thank you for your question. There does seem to be enough smokers to help with the problem (Steinberg's majority vote flip of tobacco tax would generate another $6 billion annually), but of course it won't be enough on its own. We need to close the tax loopholes opened in the last series of budget negotiations, we need to have a dime-a-drink fee in bars, and we need to tax medicinal marijuana. There is at least $13 billion in majority-vote revenue out there. -- Das
